"Fifteen Lakhs!! Bloody Greedy dog ..you are ready to kill for a mere fifteen Lakhs" Lakhan was staring at Belwa.

'When he gets angry, his eyes multiply in size and they are all that you can see on his face.' Belwa thought.

"Pocket Money brother "Belwa said, patting Lakhan on his back with one hand and handing the cigarette to him from the other. "Any money is welcome. She was an ordinary woman and I am sure her enemy is too --nameless faceless people, a part of crowd. No one will bother if they die.  Easy for us"  He said with a smirk. "Now go get some tea and let us see if she really wants her mother in law dead"

Belwa sat at the edge of the bed with the envelope in his hand, staring at nothingness,

"What happened, Does the envelope have your mom's pictures?" Lakhan said , tea in his hands. He laughed at his own joke and looked for approval. No one seemed to pay any attention to him. "Arey what happened? did you see a ghost? Do you know the person in the picture?" Lakhan said and nudged Belwa with his elbow. Belwa looked up.

"Yes, I know her" He said and took the cup of tea from Lakhan's hand.

Lakhan opened the envelope and frowned. "But this ... this is a mistake, isn't it?"

"We have no way of knowing. We kill the person in the picture on Wednesday" Belwa said as he took a sip from the tea cup.

The name of the woman has been known to be Sasha Talwar. She was returning from a friend's place on Wednesday night. There were no eye witness and no one heard a gun . The woman was carrying only a hand bag. The contents of the hand band were a book, some paper napkins , a strip of brufein tablet, a hair clip and a wallet. The police found a note in the wallet. This was my decision. No one is to be blamed -- not even my killers. Tell my mom I am sorry.
